Blow Moulding

TECHNOLOGY

Today ITIB works in technical blow-moulding of plastic materials with technologies at the state of art both in traditional blow-moulding and in 3D suction.

Long experience through years and the direct collaboration with the main raw material producers have strengthened the knowledges in transformation of basic polymers and techno polymers, more mechanically and thermally performative.

Between the different applications, we can find technical items produced by:

• HDPE

• PP, PP GF15, PP GF20

• PA6, PA6 GF15

• PA6.6 GF15, PA6.6 GF20

• TPE-V

• TPE-E

ITIB pays attention to market’s evolution and, through the experimentation of new material and the collaboration with the producers, replies to the demand of increasing thermic-mechanical performances.

The blow-moulding machines are equipped with the most modern process controls: raw-material treatment by modern dehumidifier and thickness calibration by the adoption of radial and longitudinal parison control’s system.

The production aided by flexible and advanced industrial automation system.

In case of low volumes or project restrictions or in any case where manual operations are requested, Itib can count on a skilled staff trained and aware of critical aspects of production process.

POST PROCESSING

ITIB has developed and strengthened collaboration aimed to increase the blow moulding technology with reliable partners in order to assembly or welding components on the blow moulded part.

The development in the mechanical working of the plastic manufactures is directed to minimize chips and burrs.

Plastic injection’s components can be welded through vibration and hot-blade process.

The reliability of the welding process is granted from the automatical control of the sensitive parameters such as fusion strenght, blades temperature and melting depth.

At the end of the finishing process, a clean system through ionized water remove particles and workings residuals.

The welding’s seal is granted from air-to-air pressure test and precise measurement of the pressure drop.

Mechanical performance is measured by pull off, tear off and twist test on dynamometer.
